Miles Davis is an inscrutable musician and person...full of conflict and a pool of emotion and intellect wound up in arcs of energy in music and relationships...Orange and Blue are opposite colors on the artist and designer's Color Wheel, and are therefore called 'complementaries.' The Blue Man is highlighted with spots of orange here, clothed in orange... his trumpet is blue with orange highlights...all symbolic of his music and vice versa. Does this 'dream' version resonate with your understandig of the man? How does it make you feel? I'd love to know.
