A somewhat fantastic and expressionistic version from an on site sketch of a concrete hull sailboat at the Ilwaco, WA boat yard. Strong color is often sufficient to express emotions that can't readily be put into words! But I'm thinking the violent storm in back has cause a near flash of lightning, POW! spotlighting this 'fish out of water'....I love those colors...How do you see it?

When I had the pleasure of interviewing Jackson Ordean, he began by telling me he grew up barefoot and shirtless in a small art colony town on the beach..." pungent salt and seaweed smells up my nose and the natural 'music' in my ears of foamy water flowing over gravelly sand.
