Artist's Description
My friend Michael sent me a photo of a brace of Norwegian Fjord horses in South Dakota a while back. Too much power, nostalgia, and cuteness not to paint!. The tack is fairly accurate, but creative liberty has been taken throughout.. Sure struck a nostalgic button on my panel. Do you know this breed? What are you feeling right now looking at this painting?
About Jackson Ordean
I've painted my own personally deepest impressions in oil, acrylic, and watercolor since 1969...My purpose as an Artist has been to share my emotion filled works, from feelings of divine happiness to a sense of mystery and even 'blues', with kindred spirits, so many of whom have acquired them after we were able to establish a personal rapport...Original Art, ethereal thoughts and feelings from my insides, deserve no less than to be received like treasured melodies that resonate with the inner being of those who seek to acquire them. Should this be your impression of what you see here, there is still a small reserve of my originals, one of which may touch a chord in you...if so, we can begin a conversation when you electronically mail...
