This is a creative composition of Norwood, Colorado local landmark Lone Cone, eagles, hawks, and buzzards, an old, expressive tree east of town, a creative reassembly of my neighbor's house and outbuildings in a different landscape than reality, but rather the reality formed in my imagination - a multi layered combination of images and emotions. When I had the pleasure of interviewing Jackson Ordean, he began by telling me he grew up barefoot and shirtless in a small art colony town on the beach..." pungent salt and seaweed smells up my nose and the natural 'music' in my ears of foamy water flowing over gravelly sand.
