Here is my dream vision of flat tracking, wild crowds, twilight racing, first race of the night, back in the mid to late 60's in Orange County, or Ascot, or motocross (scrambles as we called it) at Carlsbad! Fun! A simpler life for sure, although we had our challenges, right? On Any Sunday was a fleeting dream thought in Bruce's head...I used to see him ride by on the way to his house hanging over the ocean just a tad up from Dana Cove back in '64-'65. What veelings do you have on first look? Memories? Youthful excitement?

When I had the pleasure of interviewing Jackson Ordean, he began by telling me he grew up barefoot and shirtless in a small art colony town on the beach..." pungent salt and seaweed smells up my nose and the natural 'music' in my ears of foamy water flowing over gravelly sand.
