Artist's Description
An old barn with additions, a funky stove pipe, vultures in the hot background sun, a figure getting out of the heat under an old, just barely standing roof over an entry, states a mood of Western Americana, like my hometown of Norwood, Colorado. Began as a Robert E Wood black & white exercise and became my own for sure. Who knows what project sits under the roof on the left? What happens next? It's a 'country life' icon for sure and for certain. What does it inspire in you?
About Jackson Ordean
I've painted my own personally deepest impressions in oil, acrylic, and watercolor since 1969...My purpose as an Artist has been to share my emotion filled works, from feelings of divine happiness to a sense of mystery and even 'blues', with kindred spirits, so many of whom have acquired them after we were able to establish a personal rapport...Original Art, ethereal thoughts and feelings from my insides, deserve no less than to be received like treasured melodies that resonate with the inner being of those who seek to acquire them. Should this be your impression of what you see here, there is still a small reserve of my originals, one of which may touch a chord in you...if so, we can begin a conversation when you electronically mail...
