Friend and former student Kristen Allen, equestrian, working cowgirl, fantastic cowboy leather artist, (Twisted K Leather on FB) sent me a back-of-a-horse snapshot similar to this painting of 9 horses (can you see them all?), mostly the compositional idea, with permission to sling paint my way! Not meant to be totally true to the magnificent anatomy of good horses, but close. Horseflesh is all about 4 footed miracles and our enjoyment of same. What's your feeling about this impression? I'd love to know .
