Artist's Description
Inspired by a scene in present day MT, a couple of Chrysler Corp beauties: 36' Plymouth and '47 Chrysler Windsor. The scene is much changed from reality as the car on the left was at least half obscured by foliage and had no hood. The Chrysler was further from the Plymouth and had its hood leaning up against the body such that the 'cab' could not be seen well. The colors are exaggerated, but both cars were originally green. I find these nostalgic cars and trucks very inspiring.

When I had the pleasure of interviewing Jackson Ordean, he began by telling me he grew up barefoot and shirtless in a small art colony town on the beach..." pungent salt and seaweed smells up my nose and the natural 'music' in my ears of foamy water flowing over gravelly sand. I was in my own world of feelings and pictures...all I knew that was real and true at the time."
