Artist's Description
Inspired by a scene in present day MT, a couple of Chrysler Corp beauties: 36' Plymouth and '47 Chrysler Windsor. The scene is much changed from reality as the car on the left was at least half obscured by foliage and had no hood. The Chrysler was further from the Plymouth and had its hood leaning up against the body such that the 'cab' could not be seen well. The colors are purposely amplified for emotional communication, but both cars were originally green. I find these nostalgic cars and trucks very inspiring...because they remind me of my condition before I was redeemed and restored....like God, we can see the hints of beauty and character in these 'cars' that are worth restoring and more. What do you feel viewing these venerables?
