Artist's Description
Back in the 70's, I had a red '50 Ford truck and lived on Aliso Circle in South Laguna in an old beach shack I grew up in. I had done a charcoal sketch of this scene at the time and translated it into this watercolor, experimenting with very vibrant color. My wife says she wants to live there. I'm still advertising for a time machine. {;^) This one sold at a regional art show in Ouray, CO - of course, prints are available in many forms and sizes!)
About Jackson Ordean

you have some wonderful work in your portfolio, but I have been looking through the Trucks Old Abandoned and Rusty group, so was glad to find another painting in amongst all the photos. I have just joined the group and posted a watercolour. Regards Kerry
Jackson Ordean replied:
Thanks, Kerry~ditto the photos...the 'jazzed' up ones turn me off the most. A good photo doesn't need that, and it makes the naive think they are the same as painting....{;^)
