Friend and renown Silversmith Mike Heintz, now passed, shared an image from one of his fine art photos of the South Dakota Prairie. Used as a springboard for my own imagination and painting style; I love the curves of this fastback Pontiac Torpedo from the late 1940's as does the 'other' Paint, apparently interested in horsepower...hope you enjoy it as muchas I do! When I had the pleasure of interviewing Jackson Ordean, he began by telling me he grew up barefoot and shirtless in a small art colony town on the beach..." pungent salt and seaweed smells up my nose and the natural 'music' in my ears of foamy water flowing over gravelly sand.
